Wherever the Duchess of Sussex goes, royal watchers will surely follow, especially if it’s into the path of an amazing fashion buy. Case in point: in July last year, at the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup, Meghan sent fans into a frenzy by carrying a stylish J.Crew rattan clutch bag with a crescent shape and pastel pink detailing. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t stay in stock for very long – particularly as Meghan wasn’t the only royal spotted toting the style. Who knows, perhaps the two have access to each other’s wardrobes? Either way, the bad news is that you can no longer order Meghan and Pippa’s original bag – but the good news is that it’s been reinvented for S/S 19, and there’s even a new colourway to boot. Rex Features In addition to the natural wicker, the £100 rattan clutch – a square alternative to last year’s half-moon shape – also comes in a fun, vibrant neon petal shade. And whichever one you opt for, customers who’ve already snapped it up say the quality is worth every penny. ‘I’ve always wanted a rattan clutch. But I want something well made and elegant. The combination of rattan and quality leather elevates the bag to premium,’ said one. ‘It fits the essentials pretty well. The inside lining is pretty too. Overall, I will rate the clutch a 10.
