That means it’s time to pull out those trusted beauty products that help you keep cool. One that you might want to try this summer is the reusable Cryo mask by Charlotte Tilbury, which was spotted all over Instagram on the faces of some of the most prominent beauty editors when it was released last year. Charlotte Tilbury The Charlotte Tilbury Cryo-Recovery Mask harnesses the power of cryotherapy (very cold temperatures), making it unique when compared with other traditional sheet masks. The aim of the product is to encourage blood flow to the skin’s surface, while also reducing inflammation and puffiness. It will also be a great go-to for simply cooling the body temperature down during very hot weather, too. The reusable face mask design features pockets of cooling gel beads in specific areas, such as the under-eyes, forehead, and chin/neck area. As well as the cooling beads, another draw of Tilbury’s latest innovation is the acupressure points across the mask that relieve tension. In short, this is probably worth trying if you suffer from tension headaches and are looking for a more hands-on solution. Charlotte Tilbury The mask is designed to be frozen prior to use and there are specific instructions on how to make the product work for you: Place the mask in the freezer for a minimum of 30 minutes before use, folded inside the protective pouch. Remove the mask from the pouch and place the gel side onto clean skin or after applying serum. Secure the top velcro straps around the back of your head. Pull the bottom velcro straps upwards and tightly secure on top of your head. Relax for 10 minutes, massaging the metal beads into pressure points as desired. Remove the mask and wipe it clean. Store it in the pouch ready for your next use, then follow with skincare. Speaking about her innovation, Tilbury explained: ‘For years I have been obsessed with innovations in cryotherapy and the brightening, tightening effects that cooling techniques have on the skin.
