With 2020 being a stressful year in more ways than one, spending lots of our hard earned cash on expensive clothing right now may not be a priority. Which is why the high street is more handy than ever, and continued proof that you don’t need to spend an arm and a leg to score a chic new outfit. Celebrities are all about the high street too, and one of the biggest cheerleaders for more affordable retailers is presenter Christine Lampard, who is currently stepping in for Lorraine Kelly as the host of Lorraine. Unsurprisingly, the star has been gracing us with some lovely outfits, most notable of which has to be her tonal Marks & Spencer ensemble, which has had fans rushing to the brand’s website. Top and skirt from @marksandspencer @sophierosekirkwood ?’ She also tagged in M&S, and after some research, it’s clear both the jumper and skirt she’s wearing come from the high street hero. In fact, her jumper — which is still available online — is just a mere £29.50, and comes in an array of other colours. It’s also sold in sizes 6-22, making it a great accessible buy for all. The Autograph Leather Belted Midi Pencil Skirt is priced at £199, and is made from beautiful camel-coloured leather. It comes with a flattering D-belt to cinch the waist in, and is sold in sizes 6-24. Unfortunately, the style is sold out online, although it’s worth keeping an eye on as the odd size does get re-stocked. You may also want to scour your local stores for the design to check if it’s about there.
