Chic, stylish and super comfortable, Aldi’s version sells out almost instantly every time the budget supermarket brings the chair back into stock, accruing a seriously impressive nearly 500 5-star reviews. If you missed out last year, you’re in luck, as Aldi has brought back its iconic egg chair for 2022. It was made available to buy online on 13 February, but due to overwhelming demand it promptly sold out within 45 minutes, with 25,000 people waiting in the online queue attempting to get hold of one. For those who missed out, you’ll be pleased to know that Aldi is bringing the chair back into stock online on 3 March at 8am, so make sure to set your alarm now. Even better, for the first time ever the Aldi hanging egg chair will also be available to buy in Aldi stores, available to pick up in person also from 3 March. The garden accessory is back in its rattan design, complete with comfortable cushions. The powder-coated frame is weather-resistant to cope with the temperamental British weather, but for extra protection against the elements, shoppers can buy the Hanging Egg Chair with a cover for an additional £10.
