And now, the high street favourite has announced that they will be going digital with the system by launching a brand new Boots app. Getty Images We’ve all been guilty of leaving our cards at home and ending up on an impromptu beauty haul, but, evolving with the tech-first times, the app will ensure that you never miss out on any Advantage Card points, as you will no longer have to carry your loyalty card around. All you have to do to get started is link your Advantage Card to the app once you have downloaded it to your phone. You then scan the bar code you are given when you’re in store to start collecting and redeeming your points. Sounds like a piece of cake, doesn’t it? The app also includes other features such as options to personalise your offers and check your points balance, making the entire experience a lot easier for customers. App Store And what’s more? To celebrate the launch of the app, Boots is giving away 4.8 million Advantage Card points to shoppers. To be in with a chance of winning, you’ll have to download the Boots app and load the offer. It is also required that you spend your points between 5 and 19 June. Once shoppers have entered and the time is up, one lucky winner will be picked to receive £500 worth of Advantage Card points, while another five winners will get £100. But if you don’t make the cut, fear not as there are plenty of more offers and competitions being rolled out to win points on the app. In fact, the Boots app is already proving to be a hit among customers having received a rating of 4.8 stars on the iPhone app store.
