YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Celebrity Marvin and Rochelle Humes just landed their very own BBC game show By You Magazine - November 20, 2018 Anyone who follows Marvin and Rochelle Humes on social media will know just how adorable their family life is with daughters Alaia-Mai and Valentina. You’ll also know that the couple teased fans about an upcoming ‘big announcement’ they were due to make, and finally, the cat has been let out of the bag. The pop stars turned TV presenters have landed their very own prime time TV series on BBC One. Rex Features The Hit List, a new music-focused game show, is a modern day version of hit show Name That Tune, which was presented by Tom O’Connor back in 1976, followed by Lionel Blair until 1988, before it was revived by musician Jools Holland in 1997 for one year. Hosted by Marvin and Rochelle, the six-part series will air on Saturday nights and will see contestants put their music knowledge to the test as they name the title and artist of numerous tracks from various eras after listening to them. Each episode will feature three couples going head to head to take home a generous cash prize of £10,000. The show is a perfect fit for Marvin and Rochelle, who both come from a musical background – Marvin being 1/4 of ex-boyband JLS and Rochelle being a member of The Saturdays. Rex Features Speaking to The Mirror, the couple, who married in 2012, said: ‘It’s our first stand-alone show together. The fact it’s a format based on our love of music makes it all the more rewarding. ‘We frequently put each other’s knowledge to the test at home, so we cannot wait to see how the contestants get on.’ According to The Sun, BBC producers have high expectations for the upcoming game show, with one producer telling the publication: ‘[The Hit List] will get viewers shouting at the telly.’ This isn’t the first time Marvin and Rochelle will work together on-screen. The two often step in to present ITV’s This Morning in the absences of regular hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, or Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. They also recently hosted BBC’s Children In Need together.
