At just £6.99, though, it’s a steal compared with its expensive counterpart (saving you £40 with each pot) while also delivering some of the same ingredients and benefits found in the original formula. Aldi Lacura Cleansing Balm, £6.99, Aldi The hero ingredient, moringa oil, is best known for its anti-inflammatory and collagen-building properties. Suited for all skin types, it can also help fight fine lines and wrinkles and improve the overall appearance of skin. Other ingredients within the formula which you won’t find in Hardie’s include Shea and Cocoa butter to help leave skin feeling smooth, hydrated and nourished post-cleanse. Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm with Cleansing Cloth, £47, Emma Hardie Like the Emma Hardie cleansing balm, the Aldi Lacura dupe acts as a lightweight daily cleanser to gently remove makeup, dirt and oil from the skin. It transforms from a solid texture into a silky oil when water is applied. Aldi describes it as “a luxury way of taking off your makeup” given the way the balm sinks into the skin to deeply cleanse and nourish your face all in one go. How to use it? Massage a small amount into the palm of your hands and apply directly onto dry skin before rinsing off with water and removing the excess product using the cleansing cloth.
