YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Food Lidl’ s £12 99 Magnum of Prosecco is back and it’ s perfect for celebrating By You Magazine - June 23, 2021 With restrictions fully lifting in England very soon (come on 19 July) and the England team performing well (so far) in the Euros, there’s much to celebrate at the moment. So the return of Lidl’s extraordinarily well-priced Magnum of Prosecco could not come at a better time. Getty Images The extra-large bottle houses a whopping litre and a half of the bubbly stuff – that’s double the size of a standard bottle – so you’d be forgiven for thinking the price tag would reflect this. But not at Lidl – the price of their Allini Prosecco Spumante Magnum is an extremely purse-friendly £12.99. Described by Lidl’s Master of Wine, Richard Bampfield, as ‘lovely and light, with a moreish pear-scented quality,’ this easy-drinking Prosecco hails from the vineyards of Veneto in Italy and will surely impress guests – not just with its size but its delightful taste, too. Getty Images The Allini Prosecco Spumante line is a top-seller at Lidl and so naturally the Magnum always sells just as well when brought back onto the supermarket’s shelves for a limited time. And it is the perfect time for indulging in a supersized bottle of the fizzy stuff – whether for a barbecue in the garden with friends and family or for sipping while relaxing at the end of the week (or a hard day!). And with the football on at the moment, there are even more chances for celebratory/commiseration drinks, so it’s even more important to always be prepared with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Lidl Allini Prosecco Spumante Magnum (10.5% ABV), £12.99, Lidl (in stores only) Whether you enjoy yours on its own, mixed with some orange juice for a refreshing Mimosa or paired with Aperol for an Aperol Spritz (Lidl’s best-selling Aperol dupe is called Bitterol Bitter Aperitif and is also available in stores right now), there’s a reason to head to the supermarket and stock up on the Lidl Magnum of Prosecco, which is available in Lidl stores now.
