In the last few months, she’s welcomed her son, Archie Harrison, guest-edited the September issue of Vogue, created a charity workwear range with some of the biggest high-street brands, and still found time to write personal notes to those who have inspired her – showing off some seriously stunning handwriting in the process. Bestselling author and mental health advocate Matt Haig – who penned a poem for Meghan’s Vogue edit – recently revealed on Twitter that he’d received a letter in the post from the Duchess of Sussex, thanking him for being a part of her ‘Forces For Change’ campaign. Getty Images ‘Dear Matt, Since reading ‘Notes on a Nervous Planet’ last fall, it instantly became a household favourite. When I knew I would be guest editing the September issue of British Vogue I knew you had to be a part of it. Thank you for being a force for change. The world needs more of you! Meghan,’ the message reads. Matt shared an picture of the touching message, adding: ‘I would love to go back in time and tell my young hopeless suicidal self about all of this magic to stay alive for.’ https://twitter.com/matthaig1/status/1157701416292618242 The sentiment of the dialogue between the two touched many of his followers, and many couldn’t help but also notice Meghan’s stunning penmanship. ‘Is that actually her handwriting? No wonder she’s a princess,’ wrote one, while another exclaimed: ‘Someone took penmanship lessons! Image: Getty Images For those who haven’t heard the story yet, there’s a reason that Meghan’s writing is so neat and precise – she’s trained in the art of calligraphy, and even made a living with her skills during her time as an auditioning actress. ‘I went to an all-girls Catholic school where they would teach penmanship courses,’ she told GLAMOUR in 2013. ‘When I was auditioning, at the onset, instead of waiting tables, I did calligraphy.’ She even taught the art at a Paper Source store in Beverly Hills before her big break in TV show Suits.
