The popular number is quite literally everywhere and even has its own Instagram account where fashion enthusiasts across the country share snaps of people spotted wearing it out and about. And now, it looks like other high street brands have taken a leaf out of the Spanish retailer’s book to create their own version of it, presumably in the hopes that it will have the same viral effect. New Look First, retail giant Topshop launched a suspiciously similar version of ‘the dress’ known as the Black And White Starlight Spot Smock Dress. Now, New Look has launched a take that’s standout in its own way, and we have to admit, it’s very very tempting. Not only is it £15 cheaper than the Zara dress, but the leopard print version is gorgeous – super flattering, and perfect for a summer’s day. Just like the Insta-famous dress, the midi features a tiered hem detail and keyhole cut out at the back. It is also bang on trend thanks to its animal print design, and can be dressed up with a pair of heels and accessories, or made casual with a pair of trainers (and even a jumper when Autumn starts to approach). New Look Brown Leopard Print Tiered Midi Smock Dress, £25.99, New Look Priced at £25.99, it is currently available on the New Look website in sizes 6, 8 and 10. So if your size is sold out, fear not. It isn’t the only dress by the brand to cause a frenzy this summer. New Look’s White Spot Split Hem Midi Dress, which retails for an accessible £27.99, is back in stock. The dress, which had previously sold out, sits just below the knee and features a subtle slit at the bottom. Similarly, the brand’s White Floral Chiffon Tiered Mini Dress has proved to be a hit among influencers too.
