Uniqlo For autumn winter 2021, the collection ‘blends an urban wardrobe with the serenity of a peaceful weekend in the country.’ A master of balancing practicality and style, JW Anderson’s Uniqlo collections are always affordable (this collection start from £7.90 for a pair of socks), bringing his signature quintessentially British style to the masses. ‘For me this collection was really about embracing the season,’ says Jonathan Anderson. ‘I wanted something that felt very autumnal in a way and that also felt quite like autumn in the British countryside. I wanted it to feel comfortable and worn. Almost cosy in a way.’ ‘I liked the idea of mixing colour and pattern. The tartan mixed with the warm colour palette, I think, really feels like autumn,’ the designer added. Uniqlo He certainly has achieved that, with cosy, super soft merino and cashmere blends knitted into relaxed loungewear styles (a lockdown-fuelled trend that we’re all still loving and embracing) in rich, classically autumnal hues. There’s plenty to get you suited and booted for brisk winter walks – we particularly love the colour block beanies, scarves and gloves in 100 per cent cashmere.
