YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Fashion This beige Zara dress might just be the new ‘ it’ dress of the summer By You Magazine - August 12, 2020 We love it when the high street pulls through with high-end looking items at affordable prices, and Zara is particularly good at nailing this department, especially when it comes to dresses. Remember ‘that’ spotty Zara dress that quite literally everyone was wearing last year? It’s widespread appeal meant women of all generations were snapping it up and it quickly became not just the dress of the summer, but the dress of the year – it even had its own Instagram account. So Zara is no stranger to the realm of inventing cult buys that fly off the shelves quicker than they can keep them in stock and now they might have just done it again. The new dress is a much chicer affair – a pale beige, almost oatmeal, fine-knit ribbed midi length dress with a deep V-neck and empire line. It’s plain and simple, but is the perfect ‘throw on and go’ dress – and all the fashion editors and stylists are loving it. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Pénélope Goldstone (@pennygoldstone) At just £25.99, this is an affordable buy, especially when you think how versatile it is – come autumn, this rib knit dress wouldn’t look out of place over a white tee or poloneck, under a blazer or with chunky ankle boots. Throw a jumper over the top and it will double up as a midi skirt too. That’s your costs-per-wear sorted. Zara Strappy knit midi dress, £25.99, Zara If you like colour, it’s neutral tone makes it the perfect base piece to layer bright and colourful accessories on top of, but it also looks just as good on its own or paired with equally subtle accessories. Thanks to its widespread appeal (and Instagram), the dress is fast disappearing off the virtual shelves, however we suggest checking back online for returns and – hopefully – a restock very soon, or check your local Zara store.
