The healthy fast food brand has teamed up with Sainsbury’s to launch a range of grocery products, meaning you can start making their food at home. Sainsburys/Leon If ever there was an incentive to bring your own pre-made lunches to work every day, this is it. Instead of spending a fortune every week on your favourite Leon treats, you can now shop the brand’s vegan mayos, oils and vinegar, sauces and freshly baked sourdough bread at your local Sainsbury’s store and whip up the meal you fancy, without having to compromise on taste. The new range consists of 14 products including Leon’s Picual Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Garlic Aioli, Tamarind Brown Sauce, Leon Ketchup and sourdoughs. Leon ‘Our new range of 14 products follows the same philosophy that all of our food does: it tastes good and does you good, makes you feel good after you eat it, is affordable and kind to the planet,’ says the brand. ‘If it helps you eat a few more plants; even better.’ Prices start at £2.50 for a tub of Leon’s Original Mayo or Garlic Aioli and go up to £9 for a bottle of Leon Balsamic Vinegar, while other products vary from £2.80 to £6.50. They might not be the cheapest options on the shelves, but when you look at cost per use, you don’t have to spend a fortune to get your favourite Leon flavours at home. Leon Leon opened the doors of its first branch back in 2004 and has since been a key provider of accessible healthy fast food on the high street. It serves everything from addictive halloumi wraps and gluten-free chicken nuggets to chicken satay and Caribbean plantain curry hot boxes, not to mention a popular selection of breakfast offerings.
