Credit: Jonas Fisch PRIM follows the story of our young protagonist, Prim, who just so happens to be the daughter of Death. Heavily inspired by the iconic art of the one and only Tim Burton, PRIM aims to deliver a one-of-a-kind 2D experience. Featuring beautiful black and white art and promising to retain its creepy-but-cute aesthetic through the narrative, PRIM is looking like the perfect game for point-and-click fans.ADVERT ADVERT Credit: Jonas Fisch You’ll need to switch between the Land of the Dead and the Realm of the Living, solve puzzles and make friends with a whole host of quirky characters as you set out to uncover a dark mystery. PRIM’s description explains further: “Strange things are happening in the Land of the Dead. Instead of reaping souls, Thanatos, the Angel of Death, has to deal with his teenage daughter Prim. Every night, Prim has the same dream: An oddly familiar human boy cries out for her help. Needless to say that our heroine tries to answer the call. “There’s just one tiny problem: The Grim Reaper has strictly fordbidden her to enter the Realm of the Living – she’s not ready for the immense power she’d develop there, he claims. It looks as though PRIM has seen a lot of changes since the game first got its reveal trailer back in 2018, but if you’re keen to see more of PRIM in action, you can check out the original trailer below. PRIM is coming to PC, Mac and Linux in the future, with the demo scheduled for this October.
