David Cage Teases ‘ Exciting New Gaming Projects’ Coming Soon 29 June 2020 by Lara Jackson David Cage, the mastermind behind Quantic Dream heavy-hitters like 2010’s Heavy Rain and 2018’s Detroit: Become Human, has teased that new projects are set to be revealed in the coming months. Speaking during a livestream on the Quantic Dream Twitch channel, Cage teased: “We’re working on many exciting new projects we cannot talk about yet, but there’s a lot going on at the studio.” Credit: Quantic Dream Though he neglected to give fans anything more than that, it’s not the first time Cage has suggested there’s something coming our way. ADVERT ADVERT Back at the beginning of the year, Cage took to Twitter to wish us all a happy 2020 (thanks Cage, that really worked out for us all), and he just so happened to mention that it’s going to be a pretty exciting year for Detroit fans. “Ok, I’m late… but I wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!,” he tweeted. Ok, I'm late… but I wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!I wish you the best for 2020.2019 has been an amazing year for the studio.2020 should be even more exciting! We have a lot of surprises to come for our fans, so stay tuned! And in 2020 more than ever: be deviant! pic.twitter.com/M7OS4SvvJq- David Cage (@David__Cage) January 14, 2020 “I wish you the best for 2020. 2019 has been an amazing year for the studio. 2020 should be even more exciting! Whether that’s DLC or a brand-new game isn’t yet clear, but keep your fingers crossed! With the next generation of consoles coming, it’s a better time than ever to reveal a brand new David Cage adventure! Speaking with GameByte last year, actor Bryan Dechart who plays Connor in Become Human, admitted he’d love to come back for a sequel…or possibly DLC.ADVERT ADVERT “I hope [for a sequel]!” exclaimed Bryan. “What’s really cool about the game is that it’s inspired a lot of people to write their own ideas of what happens in the world afterwards or beforehand, Credit: Quantic Dream “Reading people’s fan fiction or seeing artwork that represents their version of the playthrough is a very different thing. Fan art from different countries looks – it’s the exact same story that’s happened in the game, but someone can play the game and have a very very different Connor, a very different version of the story.” Let’s hope we see some more of Connor!
