Marvel’ s Spider-Man Could Be Next PlayStation Plus Freebie Says PS Store 26 May 2020 by Lara Jackson It’s the end of the month which can only mean one thing: it’s time for your PlayStation Plus game announcements. Sony seems to be mixing up the formula for the month of June though, as the company has so far announced just one of the two games. Though the second game is a mystery, it’s believed to be none other than Marvel’s Spider-Man. Though the game shows as full price on the storefront, adding the game to your basket gives you two options: the Standard Edition of the game, and the Digital Deluxe. Underneath the Standard option, the PS Plus logo can be seen, alongside the word “Free.”ADVERT ADVERT spiderman might be a ps plus game for june ps. this is a glitch on the uk playstation store pic.twitter.com/OoKySXQOcJ- Zac Meaney (@ZacMeaney2) May 25, 2020 Of course, this isn’t proof of anything right now. We could simply be looking at a store error or glitch. Still, if you were thinking about adding Spider to your game library, you might want to wait a couple of days… Call of Duty: WWII is the first game of next months PS+ titles. There’s good news though if you’re the impatient type, as you’ll be able to download it from May 26th (that’s today!) PS Plus members: Call of Duty: WWII is part of the monthly games lineup for June, and will be available for download starting May 26.We’ll share additional details of our monthly lineup later this week. Enjoy! pic.twitter.com/ECVwca1cXq- PlayStation (@PlayStation) May 25, 2020 Call of Duty: WWII received a mixed response from critics and fans when it released back in 2017. It sits at 79 on Metacritic from critics and has a user score of only 4.4. Over on OpenCritic it scored a 78. It has a fairly decent single player campaign and the multiplayer is fun if you prefer old school weaponry in your FPS games.ADVERT ADVERT (Note: PlayStation Plus is a subscription service, and you’ll need to be a sub to claim your “free” games).
