Avengers Endgame On Disney Will Include ‘ Exclusive Tony Stark Scene’ 14 November 2019 by Tom Chapman While Avengers Endgame is held as a near-perfect way to help round off the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Infinity Saga”, there’s plenty that ended on the cutting room floor. The culmination of the MCU’s first three phases led the OG Avengers in a final battle with Josh Brolin’s Thanos. Following the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, and Hulk took on the Mad Titan. We knew there would be some major loses, but the death of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark hit harder than most. Credit: Netflix Thankfully, the Disney+ release of Endgame will give you a little more Iron Man for your buck. Many thought 13 Reasons Why‘s Katherine Langford would be playing Kate Bishop — who is also tipped to appear in the streaming service’s Hawkeye. ADVERT ADVERT Langford’s part was revealed to be an older version of Morgan Stark (Tony’s daughter), however, the scene between Iron Man and his offspring was sadly cut from the movie’s theatrical release. According to several posts on Twitter, the November 12 debut of Disney+ will include an extended Endgame cut with Langford’s Morgan. The scene shows Tony meeting his daughter inside the Soul Stone’s Soul World and is called “Deleted Scene with Directors’ Commentary: Tony at the Way Station”. Credit: Marvel/Disney Interestingly, the scene was missing from Blu Ray releases of Endgame, meaning the studio has saved the scene for Disney+ or these screenshots are an elaborate fake. We’ll have to wait until November 12 to find out.ADVERT ADVERT Similar to how Thanos met young Gamora in that weird dimension, Iron Man and Morgan’s scene would’ve been an emotional interlude. Previously, directors Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed the existence of the scene but said it “confused” test viewers. It’s unclear whether Rabe will be back or if the MCU will somehow shoehorn Langford’s older Stark into the complicated Multiverse of movies. Another idea would be to have Langford as Kate Bishop following the idea becoming a fan-favourite casting on social media.
