Assassin’ s Creed Valhalla Revealed In First Trailer 30 April 2020 by Lara Jackson Ubisoft has blessed the world with its very first look at the next Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Aside from looking like one of the most beautiful games of the current console generation, the first trailer for Valhalla teases some epic storylines on a scale like we’ve never seen from the franchise before. Not too much is known about Valhalla at this point, though the game is believed to be the biggest in the series to date. (Which is saying something, considering the amount of hours you can rack up in AC Odyssey!)ADVERT ADVERT Ubisoft Montreal, the studio who is leading the development, recently took to Twitter to thank the 14 studios involved with the game. For reference, Odyssey was worked on by ten studios, which should give you an indication of the scale Valhalla is aiming for. The team tweeted following yesterday’s Valhalla name reveal, writing: ” Exciting! An immense congratulations to our studio warriors for all the good work and passion building to that reveal. We’d also like to thank the 14 co-dev studios all around the world. You know who you are, and we’re thankful for your dedication! Skàl!” Exciting! Skàl! pic.twitter.com/hBPpFZKkrP- Ubisoft Montréal (@UbisoftMTL) April 29, 2020 As for when we’ll see Valhalla, it seems an October or November release date is looking most likely.ADVERT ADVERT Over on Amazon Germany [via ComicBook], the companion book for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has reportedly been listed, and it’s already gotten a release date of November 17, 2020. Usually, AC companion books come out within a few weeks of the game itself (or at least, this was the case with Origins, where the book came out 17 days before the game, and Odyssey, where the book came out 25 days after the game). Assassin’s Creed isn’t the only Ubisoft franchise getting a new release soon.
