Creators Of Stranger Things Reveal First Details On Season 4 4 October 2019 by Tom Chapman It’s time to pack your bags as it looks like Stranger Things is heading to pastures new in Season 4. With the dramatic finale ‘killing’ Jim Hopper at the Battle of Starcourt Mall, the Duffer Brothers rounded off with a time jump as the Byers Family prepared to leave Hawkins. Season 3’s post-credits scene also teased the arrival of the mysterious “American”, but until Season 4 (eventually) returns to our screens, we’re left in the dark about what’s coming next. However, it sounds like we’re swapping Indiana for colder climes as Stranger Things Season 4 hones in on a Russian setting. It’s also interesting to note that Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven was depowered before the credits rolled and was still without her handy talents following the time jump.ADVERT ADVERT A superpowered Eleven would’ve been pretty handy in tracking down/saving Hopper, but it looks like the Duffers aren’t going to make it that easy for any of us. Credit: Netflix Previously speaking to Entertainment Weekly about broadening the show’s horizons, Matt Duffer told the site, “I think the biggest thing that’s going to happen is it’s going to open up a little bit, not necessarily in terms of scale, in terms of special effects, but open up in terms of allowing plotlines into areas outside of Hawkins.” Ross Duffer added, “Obviously the question of who that American is in that cell and then also what they’re doing with the Demogorgon, is a tease. That’s obviously going to play a huge role in a potential season four.”ADVERT ADVERT Credit: David Harbour Instagram Only recently, David Harbour teased his return as Hopper. The 44-year-old just wrapped filming on Cate Shortland’s Black Widow, which ‘should’ free him up for some Stranger Things filming. Although the fate of the Hawkins police chief is sure to be shrouded in secrecy, Harbour’s recent update of his Instagram profile picture gave us something to talk about. we're not in hawkins anymore pic.twitter.com/Y4hayuPKvu- Stranger Things (@Stranger_Things) September 30, 2019 Harbour’s 5 million followers soon clocked that he’d taken some old fanart of Hopper and Eleven and flipped it upside down. It doesn’t take a genius to realise this is a not-so-subtle reference to the murky world of the Upside Down. Netflix’s marketing for Season 4 has already hyped the return of the Upside Down and started using the phrase “We’re not in Hawkins anymore”. Whatever is going on, expect the incident at the Starcourt Mall to be the start of big changes for those kooky kids.ADVERT ADVERT Originally via Student Problems.
