God of War Director Calls For A Netflix Adaptation 28 January 2020 by Lara Jackson The director of 2018’s God of War has called for the game to be adapted into a Netflix series, and it absolutely needs to happen. Ever since Netflix’s The Witcher landed on the streaming platform last year, people have eagerly been awaiting more adaptations of their favourite games, and God of War would be perfect. He retweeted an article that asked which other game IPs deserve the Netflix treatment, to which Barlog added: “God. Of. War. However, with Santa Monica Studio clearly gearing up for its next project, the team might be a little too busy to lend their talents to a television series.
