You Can Use The Konami Code To Alter The Design Of Twitch 10 December 2019 by Lara Jackson Twitch livestreamer DevinNash recently revealed a very cool feature hidden away within the streaming platform, and it involves the one and only Konami code. As you can see in the clipped video below, DevinNash entered the Konami code into Twitch which unlocked a “Hidden Menu.” Within the menu are options including: Activity Feed Panel, Chat Panel and Quick Action Panel. By opening up this secret “Hidden Menu,” you’ll be able to customise a lot more of Twitch’s design options, and did I mention you access it by using the Konami code?! Very awesome. Check it out in action in the video below!ADVERT ADVERT In case you don’t remember (or if you’re too young to remember), the Konami code is the infamous code which could be entered into a variety of Konami game menus’ to unlock cheats. It’s particularly well-known for its inclusion in the NES version of Contra. As a reminder it’s up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A and then usually “start.” If you want a little more control over your Twitch design then best head over to DevinNash‘s stream and say thanks! Credit: Twitch Speaking of Twitch, the streaming platform recently saw a pretty well-known figure signing up: President Donald Trump.ADVERT ADVERT The channel is simply called “donaldtrump,” but don’t expect any Let’s Plays, Twitch Reacts or accidental nudity (though I’m personally pretty thankful that the latter almost definitely won’t happen). Instead, the channel has been secured as a part of his re-election strategy. I hate when I'm watching a good twitch stream and the streamer starts talking politics and they are a trump nut.- ?️‍?Don We Now Our Gay Apparel Lee?️‍? (@LeonLeFay) December 10, 2019 Naturally, you can’t have the words “Twitch” and “Trump” in the same sentence and not expect to stir up some controversy. The news was met with a lot of backlash across social media, with one user taking to Twitter to criticise the move. I've taken a firm anti-gatekeeper stance my whole life, but if there's any person we should all agree is not a Gamer, it's Donald Trump. Shame on you, Mr. President, for trying to co-opt our movement by starting a Twitch account. Twitch belongs to the Gamers and so does America.- Ace Watkins (@GamerPres20XX) October 11, 2019 Trump’s Twitch channel is still up and running.ADVERT ADVERT Looking for gift inspiration for the holiday season?
