On multiple occasions, some of the show's winningest players have inexplicably done much worse than their usual performance on Monday episodes of the show. Once it was a trend that continued through several big-name contestants, the moniker of the "Monday curse" was devised. Amy Schneider has actually defeated the Monday curse Continuing her streak as one of the show's most successful players, Amy Schneider seems to also have accomplished a feat that many of her highly successful peers couldn't even pull off: doing well on a Monday. Matt is third with $1,518,601, James comes is second with $2,462,216, and Ken takes the cake with an impressive $2,520,700 in total winnings during the regular season.
