The Flash #786, by writer Jeremy Adams, artist Amancay Nahuelpan, colorists Jeromy Cox and Peter Pantazis and letterer AW’s Justin Birch, gives Linda Park her own superhero costume. The comic, which is a tie-in to the ongoing Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths event, sees the DC Universe’s various heroes assembling to figure out how they’re going to deal with Slade Wilson/Deathstroke’s army. Park, who recently got powers, arrives with the various members of the Flash Family as the teams are divvying up areas. Soon, Park returns with a costume she had Mr. Terrific make for her. Together, the Flash family goes out and helps such heroes as Animal Man and Hawkman, Park’s new costume proving durable enough for the job. A journalist, Park was a major love interest for West, and the two eventually got married. They had two children, Jai and Irey. West and Park were both majorly effected by timeline changes to the DC Universe, and only in the last few years have they begun to get back to where they were. While she’s generally not depicted as having powers, Park recently gained super-speed, though it’s not entirely clear how or why. What Is Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths Spinning out of the “Death of the Justice League,” Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths is a crossover by writer Joshua Williamson and artist Daniel Sampere, with tie-ins from other DC creatives. The title has seen the hero’s of Earth attempting to stop a number of major threats resulting from the Justice League having been taken out of commission. Most important, though, are Pariah and the Great Darkness, who defeated the Justice League in the first place.
