Written by Cavan Scott with art by Lucas Meyer, Titans United Bloodpact #1 follows the Titans as they team up to fight off Blood Brother. With a mixture of strong dialogue, action-packed moments, and art that flows beautifully from page to page, Titans United Bloodpact #1 shows the young heroes at their best. Titans United Bloodpact #1 starts strong with Tim Drake joining his fellow Titans in a fight. Throughout this first issue, there’s a copious amount of action, and it’s done incredibly well. Each character gets to show off their unique powers, and readers get to see how well this team works together. The leadership of Dick Grayson stands out and pulls the team together in one of their toughest battles. Titans United Bloodpact #1 shows that the Titans are a force to be reckoned with. Titans United Bloodpact #1 shines when the Titans are in the heat of battle, where they have to communicate and rely on one another to survive. Scott pulls readers in with the humor and the heart of the Titans and puts them through twists and turns that are sure to have them guessing until the next issue. He juggles numerous characters well in this story while giving each member of the cast time to shine. Scott’s writing is uplifted by Lucas Meyer’s artwork, which captures readers’ attention from the first page. Titans United Bloodpact #1 is full of emotional, high-stress moments, and Meyer captures that emotion in each of their faces. When Donna Troy catches an enemy in her lasso or Superboy lands a punch, readers can almost feel the impact of those blows. Tony Avina colors each panel beautifully with deep reds soaking the page when Blood Brother arrives and bright fiery sparks coming from Starfires hands. Meyer and Avina show their talent in Titans United Bloodpact #1 with emotional battles and colors that drench each corner of the book.
