A new promo for Netflix’s upcoming Addams Family spinoff series Wednesday invites viewers to apply to Nevermore Academy, the alma mater of Gomez and Morticia Addams and current school of Wednesday herself. The promo opens on Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie), principal of Nevermore Academy and former school rival of Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones). “Have you ever been told you’re different, odd or simply don’t belong?” she asks. “In a world full of normies, do you feel like an outcast? Me too. But I’m pleased to yell you there’s a very special place for people like us: Nevermore Academy.” The rest of the video plays out like an everyday college commercial, albeit with a macabre twist. Viewers can also pay a visit to NevermoreAcademy.com, where they can take a short quiz as part of the application process. In addition to the aforementioned Christie, the show’s cast also includes the likes of Riki Lindhome​​​​​​​, Jamie McShane​​​​​​​, Percy Hynes White​​​​​​​, Tommie Earl Jenkins and William Houston, among many others.
