Trevor St. Agathe joined The Circle late in the game in Season 4, but he has technically been a part of the process before. His wife DeLeesa won Season 2 of The Circle by catfishing the other contestants as Trevor. Wouldn't it be ironic if the real Trevor wins Season 4 the exact same way?Article continues below advertisement Just like DeLeesa, Trevor decided to enter Season 4 with a catfish persona. He told Distractify that this was due to a bet with his wife to see if he could do better as a catfish. Obviously, he couldn't use his wife as the catfish, so he decided to use DeLeesa's friend Imani as his profile picture to interact with his fellow contestants. He was declared a finalist in Episode 12, alongside Frank, Yu Ling, and Rachel. In the finale, Everson secures the fifth finalist position with the chance to compete for the $150,000 grand prize. However, Trevor does not win Season 4 of The Circle — that title goes to the one and only Frank Grimsley! We don't know about you, but we are over the moon with this outcome; seeing as he played a loyal game the entire season and was authentically himself, there truly is no one more deserving of the $150,000 grand prize than Frank.Article continues below advertisement Nevertheless, Trevor did finish second to Frank. Despite his competitiveness, Trevor spoke with Parade about his second-place finish and revealed he was "very happy" to make it to the final two and to see Frank crowned as the winner. "What’s crazy is, at the moment, you’re just so excited to be there. I was like, 'Wow, I’m sitting there. I’m looking down [at] this couch. I can’t believe I’m here,'" Trevor said.Article continues below advertisement "I think back to my wife being on this couch. I’m at least in the conversation to win this game. That in itself is an accomplishment considering when I came in because it’s scary coming in late in the game." He added, "When it was down to Frank and myself, I’m like, 'It’d be really amazing to see Imani’s face turn around.' But I think I was more excited for Frank’s win than anybody else in that room. At that moment, it was very much like, 'This man deserves to win this game.'" There was no point in time where I was like, 'Oh man, gosh. It would have been really nice. Frank shouldn’t have won. I should have won.' It wasn’t anything like that," Trevor concluded. "I was very happy to make it that far. I’m happy with my performance. And I’m really happy that Frank walked away with the win." How is the winner determined When it comes to The Circle, the top five finalists submit their final rankings, and then the winner is declared. The finalists and eliminated contestants have a reunion before the winner is declared. So, the key is, if someone competes as a catfish all the way to the end, the other finalists don't find out until they submit their final rankings!
