The new drama series Echoes follows identical twins Leni and Gina McCleary (played by Michelle Monaghan) who often switch lives in the sleepy town of Mount Echo, W.VA. Distractify recently spoke with Echoes actress Alise Willis, who shared exclusive details on the filming locations. In addition, she also shared her thoughts on a possible Season 2. Alise, who has roots in the midwest, admitted that filming in the south was a “bit of a culture shock.” “I've lived in New York, Paris, London, Los Angeles, [and] Chicago. This is Wilmington,'" she continued. “But I loved it.” Netflix's Echoes was shot in the town of Southport, which is currently home to a little over 3,000 residents. “And it was like one of these little picture book towns, you know? Very warm, friendly people. [It was] just a great experience overall," the actress added.
