News by Vikki Blake Contributor Updated on 9 Jun 2019 41 comments Microsoft has been hiding secrets about its mysterious Project Scarlet in its own E3 teasers. Twitter users (thanks, The Verge) noticed that hidden within each of Microsoft's daily E3 countdown tweets were secret codes. Secreted in the left-hand side of the videos, eagle-eyed fans were able to put together three separate messages: R 255, G 36, and B 0. Together, that forms the code 255,36,0 - which just so happens to be the RGB code for "Scarlet". This isn't the first time Microsoft's done this, either. In the run up to E3 2017 the company pulled a similar stunt, including references to the specs of Project Scorpio - latterly revealed as the Xbox One X. Fans now believe this all-but confirms Microsoft will be revealing at least some details about it's eagerly-anticipated upcoming console, not least because Xbox rewarded the Twitterer who first posted about the Scarlet code with a one-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft's E3 conference goes live later this evening at 9pm UK time (1pm PT), and is expected to bring more details about games such as Gears 5 and Halo Infinite.
