Amazon UK leaks Batman Arkham Collection Steelbook Edition UPDATE: Rocksteady confirms PS4 exclusives won't come to Xbox. News by Vikki Blake Contributor Additional contributions by Tom Phillips Updated on 8 Jul 2019 55 comments UPDATE 8/7/19: Batman Arkham developer Rocksteady has now confirmed the Batman Arkham Collection Steelbook Edition, which leaked via Amazon over the weekend. This version of the game will only launch in Europe, is due to arrive this September, and will include the promotional Earth 2 Dark Knight skin for PlayStation 4 owners for the first time outside North America. Don't fancy stumping up for the new edition? Then, early next year, all Arkham Knight PS4 owners will be able to get the skin via a free download. This update comes from Rocksteady's Gaz Deaves on Twitter: Quick info for the players who have been asking. Batman: Arkham Collection is coming to Europe in Sept, and includes the E2DK skin (the first time it's available outside NA). Early next year E2DK will be released as a free download for everyone who owns BAK on PS4 worldwide.- Gaz @ Rocksteady (@GazDeaves) July 7, 2019 To see this content please enable targeting cookies. Manage cookie settings But PS4 exclusives like the E2DK skin and Arkham Knight's Scarecrow Nightmare missions won't be coming to Xbox. And, according to Deaves, Rocksteady has "no plans" for PS4 Pro/Xbox One X updates at the same time, either. Finally, as expected, the collection will only contain the series' main Rocksteady-made trilogy. Sorry, Batman Arkham Oranges. ORIGINAL STORY 7/7/19: A listing for Batman Arkham Collection Steelbook Edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has popped up on Amazon UK. Slated to release on 6th September, 2019, the collection - which has yet to be formally announced for current-gen systems - will include Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight. Like its last-gen predecessor, it doesn't include Warner Bros. Games Montreal's Batman: Arkham Origins, but this latest iteration seemingly includes a physical disc and will retail for £40. Credit: Amazon UK "Batman: Arkham collection brings you the definitive versions of Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy games, including all post-launch content, in one complete collection," the store description says (thanks, Gematsu via Comicbook). "Experience two of the most critically acclaimed titles of the last generation - Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, with fully remastered and updated visuals. "Complete your experience with the Explosive finale to the Arkham series In Batman: Arkham Knight. Become the Batman and utilise a wide range of gadgets and abilities to face off against Gotham's most dangerous villains, finally facing the ultimate threat against the city that Batman is sworn to protect." Right now, there's no evidence that the collection is coming to PC or Nintendo Switch - although that might just be what Amazon has available, so nothing's confirmed for sure just yet - but it is confirmed the trilogy includes "all post-launch content, in one complete collection", including "Exclusive Steelbook" packaging and the Batman: Arkham Knight "Earth 2 Dark Knight" Skin for PlayStation 4 players.
