Unravelling the mysteries of Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise New York, new York. Video by Ian Higton Video Producer Published on 14 Sep 2019 1 comment Zach, can you hear me? It's me, Ian. If you can hear my voice, could you respond? Good... I thought you went to sleep. Zach, don't be surprised, but Nintendo recently announced that Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise would be coming to Nintendo Switch in 2020. Shocking, I know! The original Deadly Premonition, which released in 2010 was directed by Hidetaka Suehiro aka SWERY aka Swery65 and it was rather divisive to say the least. Maybe you played it, Zach? What did you think of it? Did you enjoy it? I must admit to having a kind of love-hate relationship with it. On the one hand it's clumsy and ugly, but on the other, the story and characters are like nothing else I've ever experienced. It's a truly Marmite game, Zach! After watching both the Japanese and English announcement trailers for Deadly Premonition 2, I believe I've spotted many secrets hidden in the footage, which I've detailed in the video below. From an aged Francis York Morgan, who seems to have developed a love for the old wacky tobaccy, to some new and interesting ways to get around the game's New Orleans setting, there's plenty in this video for enquiring minds such as yourself, Zach. Watch on YouTube So, Zach, what do you think? Will Deadly Premonition 2 live up to the cult classic status of its predecessor, or will a more polished release lead to a less eccentric offering? You already know what I think, because you've watched my video. Haven't you, Zach?
