There are some big savings on VR titles in the PSN Summer Sale It's virtual insanity. Deals by James Pickard Contributor Updated on 23 Apr 2020 19 comments It seems everyone wants a turn at celebrating the season! So, following in the footsteps of the Steam Summer Sale and the Green Man Gaming Summer Sale, we now also have the PSN Summer Sale. Hundreds of PS4 and PS3 titles are on offer, but perhaps the most interesting of the lot is the vast array of PSVR games up for grabs for cheap. Many of these have been reduced to the lowest prices they've ever been so far on PSN, so if you've been holding off on a purchase now might be the time to snap them up. There are some of the kit's biggest and most accomplished games discounted too, including Guy Ritchie fan-fic Blood & Truth, psychedelic aural adventure Rez Infinite and Eurogamer's 2018 Game of the Year, Tetris Effect. It's Tetris 'reimagined on a truly cosmic scale'. Here are just a few highlights if you want to escape this world temporarily. Some have a further 10 per cent discount if you're a PS Plus subscriber, too! Astro Bot Rescue Mission for £15.99 Blood & Truth for £19.99 Bravo Team for £12.99 Firewall Zero Hour for £15.99 Rez Infinite for £9.49 RIGS Mechanised Combat League for £5.79 Tetris Effect for £19.99 Elsewhere in the PSN Summer Sale, you'll find a lot of recent releases with considerable money off. Again, many are the cheapest they've ever been on PSN. Bargains galore! Let's start with Marvel's Spider-Man as it swings down to £24.99. I've seen physical versions of Insomniac's webslinging smash a little closer to £20 in the past, but no such offers are live right now. That's a tempting deal, then. How's that for a deal that truly grabs you? You can also get Sony Bend's post-pandemic open-world action game Days Gone for £39.99. You might not want to jump on that immediately unless you want the convenience of a digital copy as you can also get it for £32.85 from ShopTo. Also outside the digital realm is Dragon Quest Builders 2 for £27.85 at The Game Collection - that's the lowest price the charming construction sandbox RPG has been since launch earlier this month. On the other hand, for some definite digital deals, the God of War Digital Deluxe Edition is only £24.99, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition is just £12.99 and Persona 5 is £15.99. Oh, and here's the obligatory shoutout to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition for £10.49. Sorry, I'll take any excuse. The PSN Summer Sale is live from now until 7th August.
