Hellraid is the on-hold first-person fantasy game pitched as a mashup of The Elder Scrolls and Dying Light, and the spiritual successor to Hexen and Witchhaven. It was initially planned for release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013, but was delayed to launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2014. Then, in 2015, it was delayed indefinitely. "... putting on hold means we want some of the resources to concentrate on Dying Light, and once they do what needs to be done we will come back to Hellraid," Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka told Eurogamer in June 2015. We haven't heard much about Hellraid since then, but now, five years later, it's being revived as DLC for Dying Light, which is itself now over five years old. You will be literally hacking through demonic hordes of Hell. "It all started with an arcade machine survivors found in the Tower's basement while investigating an odd power outage. None of them could remember seeing this strange device ever before. They moved it upstairs, unaware of its true nature."
