Cyberpunk 2077 reveals Mad Max-inspired Reaver car And yes, you can drive to the Badlands. News by Wesley Yin-Poole Deputy Editorial Director Updated on 16 May 2020 6 comments CD Projekt has revealed a car featured in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 - and it looks a lot like the kind of car you'd see in Mad Max. To coincide with the fifth anniversary of the excellent Mad Max Fury Road movie, CD Projekt gave us an in-game look at the Reaver, a custom-built Wraith gang vehicle based on the Quadra Type-66 car. „Reaver" - custom-built Wraith gang vehicle based on Quadra Type-66 car. With its near 1000 horsepower, you will ride eternal, shiny and chrome. The Wraiths, by the way, are a nomadic gang in Cyberpunk 2077 who are said to inhabit the Badlands, which all sounds very Mad Max. Cyberpunk 2077 lead quest designer Paweł Sasko tweeted a picture of the original Quadra Type-66, which appears in the game. (Quadra, by the way, is the fictional manufacturer of the V-Tech car that starred in Cyberpunk 2077's E3 2018 gameplay trailer). The Type-66 is inspired by the real world 1970 AMC Javelin AMX, which Mad Max fans have been known to use to replicate Max's iconic V8 Interceptor. This is the Badlands area mentioned above, and, according to CD Projekt, you can indeed drive there. More on that over at Emma's article on Cyberpunk 2077's map.
