News by Tom Phillips Deputy Editor Updated on 20 Mar 2020 12 comments I used to adore Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the series' smartphone spin-off where you managed an animal campsite. It wasn't the full Animal Crossing experience, but it was a happy little slice which fit well enough on my mobile. Free stuff! In the years since, Pocket Camp has become more grindy and money-grabbing, but it's still on my phone - which is good - because in two minutes this morning I just unlocked a bundle of freebies for my new Animal Crossing: New Horizons island. Fancy them? Here's how you do it: First off, if you don't have Pocket Camp already, download it to your mobile. Then the following in-app process really does take just a minute to complete. In Pocket Camp, click on My Nintendo via the in-game menu Sign-in with your Nintendo Account Collect 'Animal Crossing: New Horizons Special Order Ticket' Receive an eShop code to enter on your Switch Tom Nook's tent. And that's it! You can now safely delete Pocket Camp. Bung the code into your Switch eShop and the next time you load up your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Tom Nook's tent will have an option to pick up your parcel of goodies. Just head to its kiosk's Nook Shopping option. You'll get Pocket Camp's campsite sign and banners, a shirt, a fortune cookie stand and two mini RV replicas. Not bad when all the other starting furniture you can craft from wood looks, well, rather wooden. Looking for more help getting started?
