Then let's move on to the answers. Today s Quordle answers game #260 Tuesday October 11 (Image credit: Quordle) So, what are today's Quordle answers for game #260? I won't make you wait any longer - here you go:PAGANFAITHTIBIAROACH The daily Quordle answers for game #260 seemed like a breeze at first, but one of the puzzles tripped me up. I managed to finish with a 3-4-6-8 score. Having a good strategy helps, since Quordle can be difficult on a good day. As usual, I began with my two regular start words: RAISE and COUNT. They contain all five vowels and the most common consonants, only leaving out 'L.' The bottom right square was my first stop, since I had two green letters and two yellows. I needed very little time to realize the answer was ROACH. That gave me a green 'H' in the top right box, so that's where I headed next. Again, this was easy-peasy for me and I quickly solved for FAITH. This is where things got a little tougher. I decided to tackle the top left square since one green letter and one yellow. At this point, I generally try a word with an 'L' (a very common consonant) and/or one that ends in 'Y.' In this case, I wanted to get as many consonants in there as possible as I needed more information for this and the other remaining puzzle. So, I went with MANGY, but it was wrong. However, that gave me the 'G' and eliminated another spot for the 'N.' With no 'Y' in the solution, I began to think that the word contained a repeated 'A.' After some rearranging with the available letters on the board, I came up with PAGAN. Last but not least, I needed to solve the bottom left box. I had three yellow letters and just a smidgen of info about their positioning. I figured the 'I' must go in the second spot, with the 'A' in the fourth. I still hadn't used the 'L' yet, so I went with VITAL. Incorrect! Yikes, I was down to two more guesses. At that point, I knew the 'T' must go in first position, which meant the 'A' must go in last. After a hard, long look at the available letters, I finally hit on TIBIA. With that, I had all four answers. Hopefully, you all solved it too. It's essentially the same game, but you play four versions of it simultaneously and have nine attempts to guess all the answers. The letters behave as they do in Wordle, turning green if they're in the right place, yellow if they're in the word but in the wrong location, and gray if they're not included in the answer at all. A nice extra is that though there's only set puzzle per day, a practice mode is also included. And you might well need it, because it's pretty difficult. If Quordle is too tough for you, you might prefer something in our list of the best Wordle alternatives, but if you want an even more stressful test then we'd recommend either Squabble or Octordle. We also like the new Heardle, which is like Wordle for pop music, plus the geography-based Wordle clone Worldle, the Star Wars-themed SWordle and the math-based Mathler, among others. But the original is still the best, so don't forget to also check our the best Wordle start words and to look at today's Wordle answer if you won't get a chance to play.Today's best TomsGuide deals of the day deals819 Amazon customer reviews (opens in new tab)☆☆☆☆☆ (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab)$46 (opens in new tab)View (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab)$49.94 (opens in new tab)View (opens in new tab)Low StockReduced Price (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab)$399 (opens in new tab)$379 (opens in new tab)View (opens in new tab)Show More DealsWe check over 250 million products every day for the best prices Be In the Know Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
