Alongside last night's reveal in Warzone, Activision announced that a number of versions will be available to buy with an arsenal of different bonuses and extras. We've gathered all that info right here so you can scope out the right Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War pre-order for you. The latter grants you immediate access to the Frank Woods character in Warzone and Modern Warfare, along with a unique assault rifle blueprint that can be used in both games. You'll also get 10 Tier Skips to use in Modern Warfare and Warzone. Most importantly, there's one massive caveat to note if you want to upgrade to the next-gen versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. You'll have to buy the Cross-Gen Bundle or Ultimate Editon to ensure the PS5 or Xbox Series X version is included. However, if you just buy the Standard Edition, you will not get a free upgrade to the respective PS5 or Xbox Series X versions. Keep that in mind depending on your purchasing plans for either of the next-gen consoles. For that privilege, you'll have to pay a small premium. This edition of the game costs £65 / $70 - that's slightly more than the standard version. It's a rather unfortunate decision from Activision, we feel. You'll get no other extras on top of that for paying more. It's listed for $59.99 in the US and £59.99 in the UK. Some retailers may shave a little off the price - and you can find those best offers below. Remember, though, that you won't receive the option to upgrade to a next-gen copy if you buy this version. If you think you're going to buy a PS5 or Xbox Series X close to launch at the end of the year, you may want to consider the Cross-Gen Bundle instead. If you're sticking with current-gen for a while yet, this version will be just perfect. As with all other Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War pre-orders, you'll get access to the upcoming beta and the Confrontation Weapons Pack.
