Men with a 42-inch waist or larger also experience Sad Pecker Syndrome 50% more often than guys with a 32-inch waist. But for some men, the problem can be caused by a simple vitamin deficiency. Vitamin B-12 helps make DNA and red blood cells. Your body can't store it for long, so this is a vitamin you need to consume regularly in some form. If you don't consume enough vitamin B-12, you can experience signs such as fatigue, heart palpitations, various digestion issues (from constipation to diarrhea), dizziness, depression, vision loss, nervousness, numbness, and tingling in the fingers and toes – a sign of a nerve problem. Severe symptoms can be treated initially with a shot of B-12. But a deficiency can also make your wiener stop working. Yep, you can't get it up, or keep it up, during naked frolicking sessions. Vitamin B-12 is only found naturally in animal foods like meat, fish, and dairy. Basically, supplementation is a must for meat-deniers. Or, you know, eat a diet that doesn't leave out a vitamin necessary for life. Some foods are fortified with extra B-12, like breakfast cereals and soy milk, but you probably shouldn't be eating that crap as a grown-up with a penis. As an adult, you want to get at least 2.4 micrograms (mcg) of B-12 per day. Seafood reigns supreme here, with trout, salmon and tuna scoring high. Clams have a boatload of B-12, but that's probably not a regular part of your diet unless you're a New Englander or weird. For land critters, beef is where it's at, but pork and chicken are okay too. Eggs are a good source, and Greek yogurt and Swiss cheese are decent options too. Besides just not eating enough foods that contain B-12, some things can interfere with your body's absorption of the vitamin, like low stomach acid. (Your natural level of stomach acid also diminishes with age.) So, heartburn medications, which reduce stomach acid, may also keep you from absorbing adequate B-12... which could lead to ED... which could be a disappointing end to date night.
