Update: As of patch 1.07 from developer Hello Games, this inventory duplication exploit has been removed, with players now unable to see their graves by loading up a previous save after death. No Man's Sky, as it turns out, has a remarkably game-breaking exploit which is letting users farm its rarest items and duplicate the entire contents of your starship inventory a seemingly infinite number of times - to such an extent that you can reach the centre of the galaxy and finish the game incredibly quickly. It's quite literally a case of using a quick trick to duplicate the inventory's contents, and repeating until you're satisfied. Worth noting is that it's quite unlikely that Hello Games will allow the exploit to stay in the game for long, so we'll jump straight into explaining how you do it while you still have a chance. Also, it goes without saying, but don't go tempting yourself with this if you're looking for a totally organic experience with No Man's Sky - it's an optional exploit, so use at your own discretion! No Man s Sky exploit - How to get infinite Warp Cells and Atlas Stones fast Here's the process for the exploit step-by-step: Developers HATE this one neat trick! Etc. etc. Place the desired items you'd like to duplicate into your starship inventory. Save the game. This can be done quickly by docking at a Space Station - the game autosaves every time you exit your ship inside a Space Station's hangar. Board your ship if you haven't already, and head out into open space. Get yourself killed. The quickest way to do that we've found is by attacking a Freighter, which draws a fair bit of Sentinel and turret attention. Taking on some pirates is another option. Once you've loaded back in, check that your ship inventory is empty (barring the fixed items like your Hyperdrive or Sigma upgrades), and your Exosuit inventory is still full as it was. Load the 'Previous' save game - not the most recent one. The game autosaves on respawning, and importantly you want to go back to the save before your death. Your ship inventory should now be full again, as it was before your death. However, your 'Grave' will still appear on the HUD, which is located at the point of your death. Clear some space in your ship's inventory (items picked up whilst in your ship always go to the ship inventory, so it needs space), and then head over to your grave. Passing over your grave will collect the 'lost' items from your ship's inventory which, combined with the pre-save inventory you currently have, will double what you had before. You'll be able to continue picking up items from your grave until your entire inventory is recovered Sell, discard, or craft with any spare items you don't need, so you can create more space to either pick up the rest of your inventory or rinse and repeat the process. For a little extra clarity, our video team have put together a little visual aide on how exactly to pull it off: That's it! Bearing in mind that you can double the contents of your inventory each time you perform the exploit, you can quickly turn two Atlas Stones or Warp Cells into four, four into eight, eight into sixteen, and soon enough you can get to the centre of the galaxy in a matter of minutes, rather than dozens of hours.
