Guide by John Bedford Contributor Updated on 11 Jan 2021 Next month will mark the arrival of Hearthstone's second expansion of 2019, with a fresh collection of cards and mechanics set to shake the meta up once more. Saviors of Uldum will see the good guys working together to try and undo the work of the bad guys from April's Rise of Shadows set. It's all part of Blizzard's desire to tell a full story across each year's three expansions, so expect a jolly good fight when these worlds collide. There'll also be a new keyword to play around with, new Quest cards to experiment with, and a new Plague type of card designed to disrupt the late-game. Saviors of Uldum Overview Here's the basics of what to expect when the expansion goes live in August. Saviors of Uldum will be released on Tuesday 6th August 2019. There'll be 135 new cards to add to your collection with the launch of the expansion. Thematically the Saviors are represented by the Druid, Hunter, Mage and Paladin classes. Quest cards are returning to the game! A new Reborn mechanic brings minions back from the dead with a single point of health to play with. Plague cards are also coming, and will have a big late-game impact on both sides of the board. A new single player adventure will launch at some point in September.
