Aside from Growlithe's Spotlight Hour, there's a lot going on in the world of Pokémon Go; today sees the start of the Festival of Color event and Oricorio has been added to the game. Arcanine - Growlithe's evolution - is still an excellent fire-type choice, especially for newcomers, despite being one of the first Pokémon released. If you manage to find a Growlithe with perfect IV stats, you'll be able to create a powerful Arcanine who can burn through your opponents, especially any grass-type.
