KFC Partners With Pokemon For Upcoming Pokemon Legends Arceus 14 January 2022 by Richard Breslin KFC is no stranger to pop culture collaborations, so it should come as no surprise that the fried chicken chain has partnered with Pokemon. Previously, Pokemon has had a highly successful collaboration with the other big fast-food chain, McDonald’s. The collaboration saw rare Pokemon cards and even action figures bundled in with Happy Meals. Credit: KFC As reported by Nintendo Life, now it’s the turn of KFC in Taiwan. The collaboration between KFC and Pokemon is to promote the upcoming release of Pokemon Legends Arceus for the Nintendo Switch later this month.ADVERT ADVERT I hope we re not eating Torchic So, what do you get in the Pokemon-themed KFC meals? Well for starters you get a meal box and bucket featuring Pokemon artwork. Furthermore, you will also receive cards based upon the Pokemon Legends: Arceus starters. Those Pokemon starters include Cyndaquil, Oshawatt as well as Rowlet. Additionally, you’ll also receive a red envelope to celebrate Lunar New Year featuring artwork of Pikachu and Eevee. According to the promotional material, the cards will be available from January 11th to February 28th. While the Lunar New Year envelopes will be available from January 24th to January 30th. Though if you live outside Taiwan and you want to add these cards to your collection, you might have very little choice then to pay over the odds.
