Dying Light 2 Will Take 500 Hours To Complete Claims Developer 13 January 202210 January 2022 by Richard Breslin It will take 500-hours to complete Dying Light 2: Stay Human. That’s according to developers at Techland. We’ll say that again, 500 hours! In an initial tweet from the Dying Light Twitter page, it stated that you’ll need to set aside 500-hours to 100% complete Dying Light 2. Furthermore, 500-hours is roughly how long it would take to walk from Warsaw, Poland to Madrid, Spain. Apparently. To fully complete Dying Light 2 Stay Human, you'll need at least 500 hours—almost as long as it would take to walk from Warsaw to Madrid!#DyingLight2 #stayhuman pic.twitter.com/Sk3KFpRJoA- Dying Light (@DyingLightGame) January 8, 2022 However, Techland did clarify that this 500-hour estimate would be to accomplish everything there is in Dying Light 2. Such as the campaign, side quests, multiple endings as well as sightseeing. Techland added that for the regular player, it should take about 100-hours to finish the campaign and all side quests.ADVERT ADVERT UPDATE:500 hours is related to maxing out the game – finishing all the quests, endings, and exploring every part of the world, but a regular player should finish the story + side quests and do quite a lot of exploring in less than 100 hours, so don't worry! ? https://t.co/4R641zkLpg- Dying Light (@DyingLightGame) January 8, 2022 Note: It’s about 100% completion rate, most of the players who are in for story and side quests will be able to complete the game quicker, it will still be a solid experience though!— Dying Light (@DyingLightGame) January 8, 2022 More is not always better Sometimes open-world games can feel overwhelming when littered with filler. Some Ubisoft titles fell victim to this issue such as Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry. Though to be fair, that aspect has improved in recent years. I’m all for a game packed full of content, but it has to be meaningful. That said, some gamers have shared their concerns about exactly what kind of content will demand 500-hours for a 100% completion. As long as 300 of those 500 aren’t looking for small collectibles, I’m in ?.— Bruno Franklin (@DarkAllN1ght) January 8, 2022 What the fuck? Like I know this is for 100% but Jesus I can’t imagine how much the main story is. I was actually interested in this but now it seems it’s gonna be like Assassin’s Creed where the story took like 80 hours. This is a pass for me, sorry.— Edco (@cloud154532) January 8, 2022 Hopefully, when Dying Light 2 releases in a few weeks, we’ll discover that the post-apocalyptic zombie horror will be full of meaningful content and not filler to stuff the map like a Christmas Turkey.ADVERT ADVERT Credit: Techland Dying Light 2: Stay Human will release on February 4th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series XS.
