Battlestar Galactica. ‘ The Office’ Is Now Going To Be An Official LEGO Set 26 October 2021 by Joshua Boyles The LEGO Group has approved an incredible fan recreation of The Office (US) set for official production, and we need it right this second. LEGO shared the news on its Twitter account, saying: “We’re so excited to announce that these fan creations have been approved for production as official LEGO Ideas sets! They submitted the design to the LEGO Ideas site over a year ago in August 2020, but LEGO has only just given it the approval over the weekend. This design is actually the third that Lewis has submitted to LEGO Ideas, having submitted the first back in 2014.ADVERT ADVERT Consisting of just under 2,000 pieces, the set depicts the three main rooms of which The Office (US) takes place. There’s the huge sales floor where most of the employees reside. Behind that is Michael Scott’s office, flanked by the conference room. There’s everyone’s favourite Jim, Pam, Dwight, Michael, and the rest of the supporting cast. They all come equipped with their own accessories. For example, Angela has a cat figure that can represent one of her many feline friends from the show. The set design is incredibly faithful with each of the characters desks looking almost identical to their appearance in the show. There’s currently no word on when the official Office (US) set will be released, nor do we know how much it will cost. Given the cost of LEGO’s other sets, we’re guessing it’s going to be a lot. Still, if you’ve got an Office superfan in your life who also happens to enjoy building LEGO, this would make for an excellent Christmas gift!
