Sly Cooper Might Be Coming Back Later This Year 26 May 2022 by Oisin Kuhnke According to a new set of rumours, a new Sly Cooper game could be in development, with a reveal possibly coming this year. It’s been a long time since we’ve dived into the world of Sly Cooper (or Sly Raccoon as he was first known in the UK). But now, according to a new rumour, we might be seeing the sneaky raccoon once again. The rumour comes from Nick Baker, founder of XboxEra speaking on the XboxEra Podcast (thanks, GamesRadar).ADVERT ADVERT This isn’t the first time Baker has shared information about a potential Sly Cooper, having first done so last year. But in a recent episode, Baker gave a little update on the rumour. “I’ve had a lot of people tagging me on Twitter about Sly Cooper,” Baker said, following up with “I wouldn’t expect a Sly Cooper announcement in June.“ will it be revealed this year However, Baker is still anticipating a reveal for this year. “It should still be a 2022 announced thing, as far as I’m being told… it will probably be announced later if there was like a September [event] or something like that.“ Not only that, Baker’s information was corroborated by known leaker AccountNGT. “The same source told me a few weeks ago that no big showcase was planned until September,” wrote AccountNGT in a tweet. Interestingly, AccoungNGT followed up this tweet with “This source also thinks that Infamous will be announced this year.“ADVERT ADVERT Of course, these are all just rumours at the moment. So it’s best to do the usual thing of taking them with a pinch of salt. September would be a good time for a new Sly Cooper game announcement, considering that’s also going to be the 20th anniversary for the series. Earlier this month, AccountNGT also claimed that a Metal Gear Solid remake is in the works.
