Bloober Team Responds To Silent Hill 2 Remake Rumours 25 May 202217 May 2022 by Joshua Boyles Bloober Team, the developer behind The Medium and Layers of Fear, has responded to rumours regarding whether it is currently working on a Silent Hill 2 remake. Rumours began circulating earlier this week when Jeff Grubb and ‘Nate The Hate’ claimed that a Silent Hill remake is in development alongside a new entry to the series. Although there are no primary sources to confirm this, Grubb reckons that it “lines up with Konami doing a big reveal at E3 last year before it pulled out”. It’s always confused that we need to do Silent Hill or something different,” jokes Jacek Zięba, lead producer at Bloober Team. Wojciech Piejko, a lead designer at the studio, quickly followed up, saying “Yeah, we can’t comment on rumours.” Credit: Konami When asked if a Silent Hill 2 remake would be a dream project for them and something they’d like to work on, Piejko said “I think I am doing it right now [laughter] but I can’t say much about it”.
