Accessibility in video games is massively important. There are so many types of gamers with all kinds of skill levels, needs and disabilities. So, it’s vital that there are as many options as possible to cater for a variety of needs. After all, what a sad world it would be if we weren’t able to enjoy our favourite video games. Credit: Santa Monica Studio Gaming is for everyone So, with that in mind, Santa Monica Studio has revealed some of the accessibility features that will be available in God of War Ragnarok. In total, the developers have revealed there will be over 60 accessibility options in Kratos’ upcoming adventure.ADVERT ADVERT Santa Monica released the details via a PlayStation Blog post. Accessibility options include subtitles and caption adjustments, high contrast mode and customisation, controller remapping as well as audio cues, audio description and much more. In God of War Ragnarok, players will also be able to adjust the font size and subtitle colour. Additionally, those that are hard of hearing will also be able to activate a Direction Indicator, which lets the players know where a key sound is coming from.
