Is Bloodborne On PC – Everything You Need To Know 17 May 2022 by Olly Smith FromSoftware fans have been asking the golden question for many years now: “Is Bloodborne on PC?” The PS4 exclusive wowed us all when it launched back in 2015. Noted for its high difficulty, unsettling atmosphere and brutal weapons, Bloodborne quickly became a hit with PlayStation fans and is now regarded as one of the best PS4 exclusives. But with such exclusivity, it beckoned the question of is Bloodborne on PC? After all, a launch on PC would mean modding opportunities, a higher 60FPS framerate, and a much wider community to open up to. IS BLOODBORNE ON PC So there’s good news and there’s bad news. The good news is, technically, you can play Bloodborne on PC. The bad news? It’s only available via streaming. To do this, you need an active PlayStation Now subscription (soon to become PlayStation Plus Premium), which will allow you to stream PlayStation games to your PC or mobile device.ADVERT ADVERT Bloodborne is included as a title in PlayStation Now, so you are able to play it on your PC via that method. It’s not a great way to play the game, as stream lag means some slight delays in your timing. For such a fast-paced game, this is obviously not ideal. For starters, Bloodborne PSX is a fan-made demake that recreates the opening Yharnam mission in the style of a retro PS1 title. It’s even complete with its own Cleric Beast boss fight. It’s never going to be as good as the real thing, but it’s something right? Still, rumours of a Bloodborne PC and PS5 version have been circulating for years. It’s only a matter of time until it becomes reality. Sony has been focusing more on its PC ports lately, having released God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and will soon be launching Uncharted on PC. ADVERT ADVERT So the question of “is Bloodborne coming to PC?” should be more of a case of asking when it’s coming to PC.
