For a while, Brendan Fraser was out of the acting game due to some complicated and personal reasons. He starred in many people’s favourite movies, like The Mummy and George of the Jungle. But he’s on the up again, having appeared in DC’s Doom Patrol, as well as starring in an upcoming Martin Scorcese film. And because of the much deserved Fraser resurgence, the actor has appeared at more events, like the Calgary Expo in Canada last week. There, as many celebs do, he was signing autographs and taking photos with fans. What really pleased Imani was the fact he pronounced her name correctly off the bat, something she clearly doesn’t experience often. Fraser made a point that he could relate to that, with one of Imani’s friends asking if he gets Brandon a lot, resulting in an eye roll and a nod that implies it’s something he’s all too familiar with. Imani and her friend make a point of how lovely he is too, something which clearly means a lot to Fraser. It’s just an incredibly nice moment, particularly knowing what Fraser has been through.
