Warner Bros Games Up For Sale Claims Rumour 4 May 2022 by Richard Breslin New rumours are making the rounds once more that Warner Bros games could be up for sale. But how true are the rumours? Rumours of Warner Bros. selling its video games division appeared back in 2020. At the time, Electronic Arts was the company being name-dropped most likely to make the acquisition. Furthermore, in 2021 additional rumours suggested that Warner Bros would consider selling Mortal Kombat and Injustice studio, NetherRealm, as well as LEGO developer, TT Games. Tencent, Netease as well as PUBG Corp were also thrown into the speculative hat. Interested parties include EA, Take-Two, Microsoft, Sony, Tencent, Netease, and PUBG Corp. That being said, there are a lot of big studios being acquired lately, so it’s not outside the realm of possibility that WB Games could be next.
