Two Fan-Favourite Zelda Classics Coming To Switch Claims Insider 29 April 2022 by Richard Breslin Two fan-favourite Legend of Zelda classics are coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year, claims an industry insider. As of right now, the Nintendo Switch has three major Legend of Zelda entries. Namely, Breath of the Wild, Link’s Awakening and Skyward Sword. The latter two titles are a remake and remaster, respectively. However, with almost every Nintendo Direct event, fans have been calling for remastered ports of The Wind Waker as well as Twilight Princess. To be fair, both games have already received the remaster treatment for the Wii U. That being said, that has stopped fans from calling for updated Switch ports at every opportunity.ADVERT ADVERT Thankfully, it seems that fans might be getting their wish and it might happen sooner, rather than later. As reported by Wccftech, industry insider Jeff Grubb claimed on the latest episode of his “Game Mess” show, that the two Switch ports are on the way. A bundle of joy Furthermore, Grubb believes that The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess could arrive to the Switch as a bundle. “They want to have a Zelda game every year, and they have been holding onto this, why wouldn’t they just put it out this year,” claimed Grubb. “And if they don’t put this out or some other Zelda thing this year, instead of just waiting for Breath of the Wild 2, I just will not understand. I suppose Zelda could come out in September maybe, but they already got some games in September, so October still sounds right to me.”ADVERT ADVERT So, there you have it, both the Wind Waker and Twilight Princes could be coming to the Nintendo Switch this year.
